What your result means

The headline figure is your Robux multiplied by whichever rate you picked. Those rates are not interchangeable: DevEx standard ($0.0038) is what Roblox pays creators for Earned Robux today, legacy ($0.0035) applies to balances earned before 5 September 2025, US 18+ ($0.0054) applies to qualifying spend by age-verified adult players in the United States from 8 June 2026, and what players pay (about $0.0125) is the retail price of Robux. Cashing out and buying are roughly a factor of three apart.

One currency, several prices

Robux is worth different amounts depending which way it moves

There is no single Robux-to-dollar rate. Buying is expensive and cashing out is cheap, and the gap is how the platform funds itself.

The practical consequence: never value your balance at the price you paid. 100,000 Robux costs about $1,250 at retail but cashes out at roughly $380 through DevEx — and only if it is Earned Robux and you clear the 30,000 minimum.

How it works

Every conversion is a single multiplication: Robux × rate = US dollars. Picking a different basis only swaps the rate. Because DevEx settles in US dollars, other currencies are a second step — the dollar figure multiplied by the exchange rate you supply. Nothing is fetched live, so the pound or euro figure is exactly as current as the rate you paste in. If you are planning a real cash-out rather than just valuing a balance, the Roblox DevEx calculator takes the same gross figure and deducts payment fees and the tax you will owe on it.

How to use this calculator

  1. Enter the Robux amount you want to value.
  2. Choose the rate: DevEx standard for a normal cash-out, legacy for an old balance, US 18+ for qualifying adult US spend, or retail to see what a player paid.
  3. Leave the currency on USD for the raw DevEx figure.
  4. For pounds, euros or rupees, pick the currency and paste today’s rate per US dollar from any bank or search engine.
  5. Check the 30,000 Robux minimum row before planning a cash-out.

Formula

Value = Robux × Rate × Exchange rate

Robux is the amount being converted. Rate is dollars per Robux — 0.0038 standard, 0.0035 legacy, 0.0054 for qualifying US 18+ spend, about 0.0125 at retail. Exchange rate is your currency per US dollar; leave it at 1 to stay in dollars. Only Earned Robux qualifies for the DevEx rates: purchased Robux, gift-card Robux, Premium stipends and traded Robux do not.

Example calculation

100,000 Earned Robux at the standard DevEx rate:

Robux: 100,000 R$
Rate: $0.0038 per Robux
Value = 100,000 × 0.0038 = $380.00
Per 1,000 Robux: $3.80
The same 100,000 Robux costs a player about $1,250 to buy

At the 30,000 minimum the maths gives 30,000 × $0.0038 = $114, which matches the figure Roblox publishes on its DevEx help page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Robux to USD rate in 2026?

Roblox buys Earned Robux back at $0.0038 per Robux, so 30,000 Robux is $114 and 100,000 Robux is $380. Balances earned before 5 September 2025 use the older $0.0035 rate, and qualifying in-experience spend from age-verified 18+ players in the US earns $0.0054 from 8 June 2026.

Can I convert Robux I bought?

No. DevEx only accepts Earned Robux — income from experiences, developer products and marketplace sales. Purchased Robux, gift-card credit, Premium stipends and traded Robux cannot be cashed out, whatever this or any other calculator says.

Why do I have to type in an exchange rate?

DevEx pays out in US dollars, and live currency rates move every minute. Rather than quietly using a stale rate, this calculator asks for one so the pound or euro figure is genuinely current. Leave it at 1 to work purely in dollars.

Assumptions & limitations

Every figure here comes from a simplified model. Keep these limits in mind when reading your result:

  • DevEx rates are the published figures at the time of writing; Roblox has changed them before and can again.
  • Only Earned Robux qualifies for DevEx. The calculator cannot tell what kind of Robux you hold.
  • The retail figure of about $0.0125 per Robux is an average — the real price per Robux varies by bundle size, platform and Premium membership.
  • Currency conversion uses the rate you enter. No live FX data is used.
  • Payment-provider fees and any income tax you owe are not deducted — the DevEx calculator handles those.
